2009 Travel & Lodging InformationFor those flying into the area, the logical airport is Manchester Regional Airport which is situated approximately 7 miles from the convention hotel. International attendees will be required to fly into an international airport and either rent a car, take a continuing flight or in the case of Boston, public transportation. The following international airports are listed according to proximity to Manchester, New Hampshire. The Radisson Hotel is once again the convention hotel for Machine Quilter's Exposition. This property has many amenities including indoor pool, health club, two restaurants, gift shop and FREE transportation to and from the Manchester Airport.
Room rates (held until March 23, 2009) Reservations should be made DIRECTLY with the hotel at 603-625-1000 and NOT the online service. Ask for rate code MQX09. The Radisson is located at 700 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03101 NOTE: The Radisson has been sold out since April. Cancellations do occur and will most likely occur in February and March. They are listed in order of closest proximity to the convention hotel and all offer FREE transport to and from Manchester Regional Airport. MQX offers complimentary shuttle service to and from all the listed hotels during the primary days of the show....... early Wednesday AM through Saturday PM. The MQX Shuttle will be available part time on Monday and Tuesday for those students taking classes on those days. All the hotels listed below have a block of rooms reserved for MQX. In addition, each hotel has agreed to assist MQX during very busy times as well as when the shuttle may not available. The rates listed here are held until March 23, 2009.
