Special Events at MQX 2009

MQX 2009 will offer two special exhibits:

Ronda Kae Beyer    Ronda Kae Beyer - Featured Quilt Artist.  Ronda Kae Beyer of Tualatin, Oregon has a quilting style all her own.  With several Best of Show Awards and multiple national and regional awards under her belt, MQX is honored to showcase her work.  These 20 pieces of stellar machine quilting highlights Ronda's unique creative process.   MQX would like to express sincere appreciation to Ronda and her customers for allowing us to display these beautiful pieces of art.

Muscle Man"Real Men Can Quilt" - A celebration of machine quilting men.  Let's face it, the men that adventure into this female dominated industry are in a serious minority.  Sometimes their machine quilting journey is unique, some fell into it by necessity and some simply like being the "Prince" amongst the ladies.  This exhibit is a sampling of quilts from men from all over the country.  Their approach to machine quilting is sometimes different from the gals but their work is unequivocally spectacular.  Thank you to all the gentlemen that will take part in this exhibit.... we owe you a debt of gratitude.  Bravo!  Bravo!

Are you a gentleman that machine quilts or know of one?  Please download the Real Men Can Quilt Special Exhibit Information and Entry Form for yourself or send it along to someone that might be interested in participating.  MQX is still accepting submissions.

Questions about either exhibit should be directed to Janet-Lee Santeusanio at MQXShow@comcast.net or toll free 866-675-4355.
